Rancho Los Cerritos

John Temple bought the land on which Rancho Los Cerritos was built and constructed the two-story Monterey-style adobe in 1844 for his cattle operation headquarters. Jotham Bixby lived with his family in the adobe from 1866 to 1881.

Santa Barbara County Courthouse

Completed in 1929, the still-functioning Santa Barbara County Courthouse was designed in the Spanish Colonial style. It is an iconic Santa Barbara landmark with its four-sided clock tower, elegant arches, and beautiful grounds and sunken garden.

Mission Santa Barbara

Founded in December, 1786, Mission Santa Barbara is the only mission continuously operated by the Franciscan order since its founding. It sits on a bluff overlooking Santa Barbara, an active parish church in the LA Diocese.
