SoCal Landmarks Publication #7

SoCal Landmarks Publication #7

The seventh book from SoCal Landmarks is now available! It features the images from our 31 Days of Early California series of social media posts during the month of November, 2023 – sites throughout Southern California dating from when Gaspar de Portola and Junipero Serra journeyed to San Diego in 1769 to establish the first of 21 coastal missions to the explosion in population following the discovery of gold in them thar hills in 1848 and the arrival of the transcontinental railroad in 1869.

We started our next feature, 31 Days of Transportation featuring sites related to planes, trains, automobiles and more, on December 1 and will be starting out the New Year with 31 Days of San Diego County featuring historical, architectural and other notable landmarks in that county. As we’ve done to date, the landmarks included in each feature will be used to produce another book.

These 8.5″ x 8.5″ softcover photo books are printed with premium colors on 80# stock. We’ve priced them so with shipping, handling and tax, each book comes out to about $20 – the poor man’s coffee table book.

A portion of the proceeds from this and every book will be donated to local organizations working to protect and preserve historical landmarks in Southern California.
