The Hershiser House was built for F. Joseph and Evelyn Hershiser in 1933 in the Floral Park neighborhood of Santa Ana. The 2-story house is considered “a fine example of Spanish Revival architecture… with a subtle… Art Moderne influence.”

Cooper House in the French Park area of Santa Ana was built for Rev. John H. Cooper and his family in 1900. It a characteristic example of the architectural eclecticism of the time combining elements of the Colonial Revival and Queen Anne styles.

Known as the Empire Market until 1941, the Empire Building in Santa Ana was built in 1933 as a speculative venture by the Santora Corp. It is considered to be one of the best examples of Art Deco commercial architecture in downtown Santa Ana.

The Santa Ana lodge of the Knights of Pythias built a 2-story facility in downtown Santa Ana in 1926 with retail spaces on the ground floor and a meeting hall used by the Knights of Pythias and the Grand Army of the Republic upstairs.

The cornerstone of the Masonic Temple in Santa Ana was laid on December 5, 1930. Designed by Horace B. Austin in a modified Gothic Revival style with Moderne influences, construction of the 4-story building was completed in 1931.

This 25-room, Streamline Moderne house in the Floral Park area of Santa Ana, built in 1938, is called the Maharajah’s House because it was, in fact, the 18th home owned by the Maharajah of Indore, Sir Yeshwant Holkar.

The Santora Building occupies almost half an acre in the heart of the Santa Ana Arts District. Frank Lansdowne designed it in 1929 in the Spanish Renaissance Revival style with notable Churrigueresque ornamentation and ornamental ironwork.
