St. Andrew Church

St. Andrew Church, founded in 1886, is the oldest Catholic parish in Pasadena. The current church building, the inspiration of Monsignor John McCarthy and architect Ross Montgomery based on churches in Rome, was constructed in 1927.

El Campo Santo, on the grounds of the Homestead Museum in the City of Industry, is one of the oldest private cemeteries in Southern California. The first recorded burial there was that of William Workman’s brother, David, in 1855.
