The Spanish Colonial-style Gilbert Kraemer House, built in 1918, is the last residence of the Kraemer family left standing in Placentia. Unlike most ranch estate houses, it had a tennis court and swimming pool, but no barn.

The Civic Clock Tower on the southwest side of City Hall in Riverside is one of numerous City-designated monuments and memorials. Built in 1996, It was dedicated in 1971 “In Honored Memory of Officers Christiansen and Teel Killed in Line of Duty April 2, 1971.”

The Tramway Gas Station, which now serves as the Palm Springs Visitor Center at the northwest entrance to Palm Springs on Highway 111 at Tramway Road, was designed and built by architects Albert Frey and Robson Chambers in 1965.

The Regal Shoes Building on Hollywood Blvd was designed by the renowned Los Angeles architectural team of Walker and Eisen. The two-story building, constructed in 1939, is a quintessential example of the Streamline Moderne style.

The South Seas House has been a notable structure in the West Adams District for more than 100 years. Built in 1902 by Los Angeles music patron Joseph DuPuy, the two-story house was designed in a combination of numerous styles.

Dating to 1893, the Streetcar Depot near Pershing and Dewey in West LA was on the Sawtelle Veterans Home grounds. The building originally stood a few blocks away, near the end of Southern Pacific’s Soldier’s Home branch line.

LAHCM #49, 76 Mature Olive Trees, preserves the last visible traces of the estate of Nelson Gray, a prominent rancher in early Chatsworth. He planted the two rows of trees along the southern end of his property in about 1893.
