Donut Hole

Here’s what can be said to be definitely true about the Donut Hole in La Puente. It wasn’t the only Donut Hole bakery – it was the 2nd of 5 locations, but is the only one that still exists. It has been in continuous operation since 1968.

Fossil Reef Park, Laguna Hills, Orange County

Fossil Reef Park

Much of the coast of what is now Southern California was a tropical reef 17-18 million years ago. The remains of that reef were exposed in Laguna Hills in 1973. Orange County agencies worked together to create Fossil Reef Park in 1982.
