The Alamos Schoolhouse is an historic one-room schoolhouse moved to Lake Skinner County Park in Winchester in 1977. It replaced the first Alamos School built in 1889 and served the residents of French Valley from about 1900 to 1968.

The USS Iowa is a retired battleship berthed in San Pedro. Its tours and exhibits focus on telling the story of the Iowa, the LA Waterfront and the Surface Navy. It was the only ship of its class to serve in the Atlantic during WW II.

The San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) officially ceased operation on June 7, 2013. It built in phases by Bechtel Corporation south of San Clemente on 84 acres leased from the US Marine Corps’ Camp Pendleton starting in 1964.

Now Palm Springs International Airport, this local airport was originally built for guests of El Mirador Hotel. The City of Palm Springs bought the land in 1961, commissioning architect Donald Wexler to design the terminal in use today.

The H. Clay Kellogg House is the centerpiece of the Heritage Museum of Orange County in Santa Ana. Kellogg, then the Orange County Surveyor, built one of the first Neo-classical Victorian homes in Orange County in 1898.

The Heritage Museum of Orange County is a cultural and natural history center in Santa Ana. It covers nearly 12 acres with an historic plaza featuring the H. Clay Kellogg House and John Maag Farmhouse, both built in the 1890s.
