Port Hueneme Lighthouse
A lighthouse has marked the eastern Santa Barbara Channel entrance to Port Hueneme since 1874 although its location and structure has changed several times. The current concrete “art moderne” structure was built in 1941 using the original 1897 Fresnel lens and is maintained by the U.S. Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team Los Angeles-Long Beach. It is a Ventura County Historical Landmark.
