The Gamble House on Raymond Avenue is the only example of a true Streamline Moderne residence in Fullerton. It was built for Robert and Ethel Gamble and their sons by the Jewett Brothers, a long-established building company, in 1940.

The sole surviving San Diego and Cuyamaca Railway station was called the Allison Station when it was built in 1894 in what would become La Mesa in 1912. In 1915, the small original building was moved across the tracks and expanded.

Glendale City Hall was a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project, built on the site of Glendale’s first permanent City Hall from 1912. It was designed by local architect Alfred Hansen & completed in 1942 with dedication on June 13th.

The 2 1/2 story A.H. Beach House, also known as the Bergman House, is the most ornate and decorative Queen Anne in Escondido. It was built for Albert H. Beach in 1896. In 1968, the property was purchased by Virgil and Natalie Bergman.

The City of Huntington Beach identifies this building as the Dr. Hawes Medical Building built in 1936. It served not only as his office, but as an emergency hospital. The International Surfing Museum has called it home since 1990.

The sanctuary of the Glendale First United Methodist Church follows a traditional, Gothic cathedral cruciform plan, with a central nave, side transepts, and a chancel expressed in a Mid-Century Modern idiom created by Flewelling & Moody.
