The Kensington area, San Diego’s best-known Spanish Colonial neighborhood, was originally part of Rancho de la Mission San Diego Alcala. A parcel of the Rancho became the property of the Kensington Park Land Company on April 8, 1910.

SoFi Stadium in Inglewood consists of the stadium itself, a pedestrian plaza and the 6,000-seat Youtube Theater. Opened in Sep. 2020, the fixed-roof, 70,240-seat indoor-outdoor stadium is home to the NFL’s LA Rams and LA Chargers.

The Anaheim Colony Historic District covers about 1,200 acres bound by North, South, East and West Streets. This was the land purchased for the Los Angeles Vineyard Society to cultivate grapes – the original German colony founded in 1857.

Descanso Gardens is a 150-acre botanical garden in La Cañada-Flintridge on land purchased in 1937 by Elias Manchester Boddy. It is operated by the Descanso Gardens Guild in a public-private partnership with Los Angeles County.

The Los Angeles Convention Center in Downtown Los Angeles has two exhibit areas flanked by 160-foot pavilions (West Tower & South Tower). The pavilions and exhibition halls are joined by a link of meeting halls hovering above Pico Blvd.

The Spanish Colonial Revival style building that serves as the Richard H. Chambers U.S. Court of Appeals in Pasadena was built in 1930-31 as the main building of the Vista del Arroyo Hotel during the great age of Pasadena resort hotels.
