Coronado Library

Hotel del Coronado owner John Spreckels was asked by the Coronado Library Trustees to build a local, permanent library building. He agreed and had architect Harrison Albright design and build a classical revival library building in 1909.

CBS Television City at Beverly and Fairfax in Los Angeles opened on November 16, 1952. The stark modern architecture, designed by Pereira & Luckman, consists of black and white planes that indicate areas where it was designed to be expanded.

Sterling Plaza

The California Bank Building, a 7-story Art Deco “wedding-cake,” opened on Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills on November 7, 1929. Per the City of Beverly Hills, it was renamed Sterling Plaza when Donald Sterling purchased it in the 1990s.
