The 13-story Capitol Records Tower in Hollywood was designed by Louis Naidorf. Construction was completed in April 1956. The mural by artist Richard Wyatt Jr. on the south wall, entitled “Hollywood Jazz: 1945-1972,” was restored in 2011.

The founding of Fullerton is linked to this station. The Amerige Brothers proposed the creation of the city contingent on Santa Fe Railroad’s commitment to extend rail service through the area. This replaced the original depot in 1930.

Andrew McNally, of map publisher Rand McNally fame, purchased about 2,300 acres in 1888 to create Windemere Ranch in what is now La Mirada. The McNally Mansion, built in 1892, a foreman’s house & a carriage house, comprise The Neff Estate.

Designed in the Mission Revival style, the Hetebrink House in Fullerton was built for John and Carrie Edwardson Hetebrink in 1923. Their residence, which remains in the Hetebrink family, was once part of a 40 acre ranch.

Gamble House in Pasadena is an iconic Craftsman Style residence built in 1908/09 for David & Mary Gamble. Its design shows an influence from traditional Japanese aesthetics and reflects the Gambles’ attraction to the environment.

Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) opened in 2014. The steel-framed building’s entrance is a 120-foot-tall glass wall. At night, the structure can be lit in any color with 1,354 energy-efficient lights.
