Civic Clock Tower

The Civic Clock Tower on the southwest side of City Hall in Riverside is one of numerous City-designated monuments and memorials. Built in 1996, It was dedicated in 1971 “In Honored Memory of Officers Christiansen and Teel Killed in Line of Duty April 2, 1971.”

Loring Building

Charles Morgridge Loring, a Minneapolis businessman, spent his winters in the Riverside area in the late 1800s. In 1889, he commissioned Riverside architect A.C. Willard to design a three-story office block with an adjoining opera house.

UCR Bell Tower

The carillon and clock tower at University of California Riverside (UCR) were a gift from Phillip & Dorothy Boyd. The 48-bell carillon was produced by the Paccard Bell Foundry in France. It was dedicated on October 2, 1966.
