Orange City Hall

The current City Hall for the City of Orange, formally the Orange Civic Center, is a prominent, gleaming white structure of arched square pillars on Chapman just east of the Plaza. The building was designed by Welton Becket Associates, known for the Capital Records Building, UCLA Pauley Pavilion and the Beverly Hilton (among others), in an almost archetypal expression of the New Formalism style. Construction was completed in 1963, replacing a two story building that had been built in 1921.
