Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is an outdoor sports multi-purpose stadium in Exposition Park in Los Angeles. Conceived as a hallmark of civic pride, the Coliseum was commissioned in 1921 as a memorial to L.A. veterans of World War I. The Coliseum has been home to college football’s USC Trojans since 1923 and the UCLA Bruins (1928-1981); professional football’s Los Angeles Rams (1946-1979, 2016-2019), Raiders (1982-1994) and Chargers (1960); and professional baseball’s Los Angeles Dodgers (1958-1960). It has hosted three NFL Championships and two Super Bowls and in 2028 will become the first stadium to have hosted the Summer Olympics three times. It is a US National Historic Landmark on the National Register of Historic Places and a California Historical Landmark.
