Parasol Park
The Pinus Pinea, commonly known as the Italian Stone Pine, Umbrella Pine or Parasol Pine, gives this community park in Irvine its name, Parasol Park, as well as a prominent natural landmark for residents and visitors. The Great Park Neighborhoods partnered with The Ecology Center to create a natural space for residents to gather as a community with a garden, greenhouse, and community building.
