Stagecoach Inn
The Stagecoach Inn opened in 1876 as the Grand Union Hotel. Threatened by expansion of the Ventura Freeway in the 1960s, it was moved and designated a California Historical Landmark. It is owned by the Conejo Recreation and Park District and operated as a historic museum run by the Conejo Valley Historical Society. The museum includes a replica of Timber School, a carriage house and nature trail. It is City of Thousand Oaks Historical Landmark No. 1, a Ventura County Historic Landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places.
