More info & imagesPart of a Union Oil gas station was moved across the street by a team of horses for this first Laguna Beach Lifeguard Dept. home. Citizen activism saved it from demolition in the 70s and it was lifeguard HQ into the mid 80s.
More info & imagesOriginally built in the late 1800s, the tower at 1 Anderson St was replaced in the 1940s with a 75K gal tank standing 90 feet tall. In 1984, new owners replaced the tank with a replica enclosing a 2,800 sq ft, 4-bedroom home.
More info & imagesBuilt by Brown Street Clock Company in 1905 for $150, this clock was installed for Stalmer’s Jewelers around 1910. Billie Stedman bought Stalmer’s in 1928 and moved the clock with his business to its present location in 1940.
