Fullerton Municipal Airport is the only general aviation airport in Orange County still in its original location. It can trace its origins to 1913 when barnstormers and crop dusters used the former pig farm as a makeshift landing strip.

New England horticulturist Albert Sumner Bradford moved from Maine to what is now Placentia at the age of 27. The family’s 15-room home, designed by architect James Stafford in the Colonial Revival style, was built in 1902.

Garden Grove Historical Society owns & maintains the Stanley Ranch Museum & Historical Village. There are 17 historic original & replica buildings including the Ware-Stanley House, the Disney Garage and the 1st Garden Grove fire station.

The Ware-Stanley House was built in 1891 by Edward Ware. His daughter Agnes married Arthur Stanley in 1905 & lived with her family in the house after her parents’ death. It is now home of the Garden Grove Historical Society.
