Charles Lummis built his house, El Alisal, between 1897 & 1910 on a 3-acre lot at the south end of the Arroyo Seco in northeast Los Angeles. The Rustic American Craftsman stone house was built by hand by Lummls and a few Indian laborers.

The LAHCM application for the Sherwood House in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles states that it “embodies ‘the distinguishing characteristics of an architectural type specimen’ as a notable example of the Tudor Revival style.”

The J.W. Blank Residence was one of the earlier homes built in the Los Feliz Square subdivision of Los Angeles. It was designed in 1927 by Harry Hayden Whiteley in his signature Spanish Colonial Revival style and completed in 1928.

Hollywood’s historic “Little Church Around the Corner,” St. Mary of the Angels, or simply St. Mary’s, in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles was built in 1929-30. Noted architect Carleton Winslow designed it in the Spanish Mission style.

Casa Laguna is one of eight courtyard apartment buildings designed by husband-and-wife team Arthur and Nina Zwebell in the Spanish Revival style. The 18 apartment complex was built in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles in 1928.

Known as the “architect to the stars,” Paul Revere Williams designed and built this 4,440 square foot house in the International style for himself and his wife, Della, in the West Adams District of Los Angeles in 1951-52.

The Shakespeare Bridge in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles is technically the Franklin Avenue Bridge. Designed by J.C. Wright of the LA Bureau of Engineering, it was built in 1926, rebuilt in a 4-year seismic retrofit starting in 1994.
