The current City Hall for the City of Orange, formally the Orange Civic Center, is a prominent, gleaming white structure of arched square pillars designed by Welton Becket Associates, known for the Capital Records Building and others.

The two-story Citizen News Building in Hollywood, constructed between 1930 and 1931, served as the headquarters for the Hollywood Citizen-News, operated by Harlan Palmer & his family, from 1931 until the paper ceased publication in 1970.

The oldest wood frame home in San Juan Capistrano was built by Joel Congdon in 1878. The house passed through several owners before the City of San Juan Capistrano acquired the house in 1990 and undertook an extensive restoration.

The exterior of the hotel is comprised of four mirrored cylinders surrounding a slightly taller central tower. The towers sit atop a six story high concrete base, much like a rocket ship on a launch pad. Adding another futurist dimension to the hotel, pedestrian skywalks high above the city streets connect the second through sixth floors of the hotel to buildings in the surrounding area.

The Plaza was carved from the four interesting corners of the city grid plan at the exact center of the original town of Orange. Alfred Chapman deeded the Plaza to the city for a townsquare, but it was not developed as a park until 1886.

The Melrose-Backs Neighborhood, a small historic district of six homes in Anaheim, was a true family neighborhood. The Kuechel, Melrose and Backs families, all prominent in Anaheim history, were represented here for 95 years.

The KEA Mill, or Old Mill as locals call it, is located in historic downtown Murrieta. The 100 foot grain elevator was built in 1918 for farmers to store their grain prior to transport to various milling companies in Los Angeles.
