Anaheim Cemetery

Sandwiched between houses in a suburban neighborhood, the 16-acre Anaheim Cemetery is the oldest of Orange County’s three public graveyards. The city’s German settlers established it in 1866, buying the acreage for a total of $100.

Holy Cross Cemetery

The newly created Diocese of Los Angeles-San Diego dedicated Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City on Memorial Day, 1939. The memorial park occupies almost 200 acres of land that had been part of the large land grant of Rancho La Ballona.
