Laguna Beach Digester
The remnants of a New Deal-era sewage treatment plant in Laguna Beach, a ground level digester tower and a small “lighthouse” up on the hillside that covered the digester air vent, will be renovated as part of a city improvement project.

Kensington Historic District
The Kensington area, San Diego’s best-known Spanish Colonial neighborhood, was originally part of Rancho de la Mission San Diego Alcala. A parcel of the Rancho became the property of the Kensington Park Land Company on April 8, 1910.

Home Savings Center
A 2018 restoration project led by Edward Ahdoot of Rockwell Properties uncovered a mosaic mural created by Susan Hertel of Millard Sheets Studio for the Homes Savings Center (now International City Bank) on Ocean Blvd. in Long Beach.

Disneyland Theme Park Historic District
The Disneyland Theme Park Historic District was proposed in a part of the Cultural Resources section of the EIR for the DisneylandForward project. It identified three contributing structures, Main Street Railroad Depot, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Hungry Bear Restaurant, as well as the Pope House, the first building at the park, as a Historically Significant Structure.

Long Beach Venus
The Long Beach Venus is modeled on a 1767 bronze sculpture by Christophe-Gabriel Allegrain entitlad “Venus Au Bain.” It held a prominent position in an alcove above the marquee of Fox West Coast Theater on Ocean Boulevard in Long Beach.
