The main US Post Office in San Bernardino was built in 1931. It is one of the few remaining buildings in San Bernardino which predates 1950. Architect Louis A. Simon designed the building incorporating a number of architectural styles.

An earthquake on July 22, 1923, damaged several San Bernardino county buildings including the courthouse. County Supervisors gave local architect Howard E. Jones the contract to design the new county hall of administration in 1925.

The California Theatre is a performing arts center in historic downtown San Bernardino. It served the film industry as a site for premier shows and most notably hosted the last performance of Will Rogers before his death in 1935.

After a fire destroyed the original 1886 station in San Bernardino, the current Santa Fe Depot was constructed in 1918. Opening on July 15, the depot was declared to be a “monument to the Santa Fe and the town the railroad built.”
