Eric Owen Moss Architects’ (W)rapper, (almost) in the Hayden Tract (almost) in Culver City, was completed in 2023. The 235-foot tower has 17 office floors varying in height from 13′-6″ to 24′ with 22,000 sq ft of uninterrupted space.

The newly created Diocese of Los Angeles-San Diego dedicated Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City on Memorial Day, 1939. The memorial park occupies almost 200 acres of land that had been part of the large land grant of Rancho La Ballona.

On March 2, 1931, Paul Helms opened the Helms Bakery on the border of Los Angeles and Culver City with 32 employees and 11 delivery coaches. The Art Deco building facing Venice Blvd fronted an 11-acre factory that operated until 1969.

Though only two stories high, the Washington Building holds prominence in downtown Culver City as one of two flatiron-shaped buildings at the intersection of Washington and Culver Blvds. The other is the Culver Hotel across the street.

Eugene Donovan built the Citizen Publishing Company Building in Culver City in 1929 to house his publishing company. Rick Moses Development, developer of L.A.’s Grand Central Market, purchased it in 2017 to create Citizen Public Market.

The headlines of the Sept 4, 1924, Culver City Daily News read “City packed with visitors for opening of Culver Skyscraper.” In an area of 1- and 2-story buildings, the 6-story Hotel Hunt (now Culver Hotel) was visible for miles around.
