Integratron

Originally referred to as the “College of Universal Wisdom Research Laboratory,” the Integratron in Landers is a hemispherical-dome structure constructed by George Van Tassel as an electromagnetic human-cell regenerator, with peripheral capabilities of antigravity and time travel. Van Tassel began construction in 1958 and, though the dome was completed by 1960, Van Tassel added various elements to complete the machine, ultimately unfinished, until his 1978 passing. Van Tassel claimed that the structure was based on the design of Moses’ Tabernacle, the writings of Nikola Tesla and telepathic directions from extraterrestrials. The Integratron is now privately owned by three sisters who have been part of the restoration and maintenance of the structure and property for more than 30 years. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
