RoboLights

When Kenny Irwin Jr. was just 12 years old, he created his first large-scale, quirky artwork in his father’s Palm Springs backyard – and he never looked back. Over 30 years later he has filled his reported 4 acre property in the Movie Colony neighborhood with a fantasyland of lights and robots – Robolights. His father, Ken Sr., was the longtime owner of La Mancha Villas in Palm Springs. He passed away in 2016 and Ken Jr. continued creating his artwork from recycled material knowing he had his father’s blessing. He has received worldwide recognition with TV appearances and talk shows, exhibits in Baltimore and Detroit, and over 40,000 visitors during his holiday lightshow.
