White House Event Center
The White House Banquets & Event Center, a one-half scale replica modeled after the original White House in Washington D.C., was built in 1978. Part of Hobby City founded by Jay and Bea DeArmond, it housed her 4,000+ item toy and doll museum featuring a large Barbie and Ken collection that closed in 2008. With the additions of the West Wing Grand Ballroom and the Rose Garden Courtyard, it is now a a one-of-kind, premiere event facility.
