Santa Barbara County Courthouse
Completed in 1929, the still-functioning Santa Barbara County Courthouse was designed in the Spanish Colonial style by William Mooser III. It replaced the original courthouse that was damaged in a 1925 earthquake. It is an iconic Santa Barbara landmark with its four-sided clock tower, elegant arches, and beautiful grounds and sunken garden. It is a National Historic Landmark on the National Registry of Historic Places and a California Historical Landmark.
