Northridge was the town of Zelzah and the Carpenter Gothic Victorian style Faith Bible Church was the Norsk Evangelisk Luther’s Kirke, or the Norwegian Lutheran Church, when it was the first church built in the town in 1917.

Lewis House is a residence built in 1890 for Samuel J. and Mary Agnes Lewis in what was once the Crown Hill area of Los Angeles. It was designed by Joseph Cather Newsom in what is considered “quintessential California Queen Anne style.”

Completed in 1967, the unique Googie-style Denny’s restaurant on Huntington Drive in Arcadia was acquired from Van de Kamp’s Holland Dutch Bakery in 1989. It was 1 of 13 designed by Pasadena architects Harold Bissner and Harold Zook.

The former Home Savings and Loan Bank (now Chase Bank) at Bolsa and Goldenwest in Westminster was the last Home Savings building in Orange County to be designed by Millard Sheets with one of “late” murals designed by Susan Hertel.

Founded in 1971 by J.B. Nethercutt in a 60K sq ft, 6-floor tower on his estate, the Nethercutt Collection in Sylmar was expanded in 2000 with the 40K sq ft Nethercutt Museum, regarded as one of the greatest car museums in the world.
