When Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955, Main Street U.S.A. led visitors to Adventureland, Frontierland, Tomorrowland & Fantasyland. Main Street U.S.A. has changed very little and 13 of the original attractions are still operating today.

The Disneyland gates were opened to the general public for the first time in 412 days on April 30. Attendance was and will be managed by a new ticket and reservation system, limiting capacity to conform with state COVID-19 guidelines.

One year ago, Disneyland Resort closed its theme parks, Downtown Disney & hotels in response to the pandemic. Recently released state guidelines will allow Disneyland & other SoCal theme parks to reopen, with restrictions, after April 1.
