Sproul Museum

In 1870, Gilbert Sproul built a house for himself and his family near the planned path of the Southern Pacific Rail Road. After deeding 20+ acres to SPRR, Sproul surveyed a town site that was recorded officially as Norwalk in 1877.

Old Poway Park

When retired Army Col. John Porter settled in Poway in 1948, he had a dream: revitalize Old Poway. Through the years, he acquired and built the start of a historic village that the City completed as Old Poway Park after his death in 1979.

San Dimas Depot, San Dimas, Los Angeles County

San Dimas Depot

The first Santa Fe Railroad Depot in San Dimas opened in 1889, but was destroyed by fire in 1933. The current building replaced it in 1934 and operated until 1961. The building was repurposed as a museum by the Pacific Railroad Society.
