Santa Fe Depot

In 1926, Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway replaced the wooden depot built in 1886 in Monrovia with a station designed by William H. Mohr, chief architect for the Santa Fe’s Coast Lines, in the Spanish Colonial Revival style.

Frank Kimball House

The home of National City’s founder, Frank Kimball and wife Sara, was a lavish house of its time and is the oldest existing building in the South Bay. It has been moved and altered, but remains mostly intact, serving as a local museum.
