A Photography Project
The California Science Center in Los Angeles grew out of the first California State Exhibition building opened in Exposition Park in 1912. The original museum closed its doors in 1996 to make way for this new science education facility.

The Melrose-Backs Neighborhood, a small historic district of six homes in Anaheim, was a true family neighborhood. The Kuechel, Melrose and Backs families, all prominent in Anaheim history, were represented here for 95 years.

The KEA Mill, or Old Mill as locals call it, is located in historic downtown Murrieta. The 100 foot grain elevator was built in 1918 for farmers to store their grain prior to transport to various milling companies in Los Angeles.

The City Plaza Tower in Orange is a landmark in the true sense of the word. Built in 1969-70, the 18-story tower, clearly visible from CA-22, rises rather starkly out of the parking area at the south end of The Outlets of Orange.

Historically significant artifacts, including two corn grain silos, were salvaged and a historic marker using brick from the ranch house foundation was built after the Northam Ranch house and barn in Huntington Beach burned down in 2000.

This building in Anaheim is the only surviving Carnegie Library in Orange County. The brick and granite exterior remains virtually unchanged in appearance since 1908. John Austin of Austin, Field and Fry of Los Angeles was the architect.

Tbe San Luis Obispo city library board received a $10,000 donation from Andrew Carnegie in early 1903. Tbe community built tbe library next to the San Luis Obispo Mission. It opened to the public in October, 1905, closing in 1955.
