Parkers’ Lighthouse
Parkers’ Lighthouse, a restaurant on the east side of the entrance into Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach, anchors one end of Shoreline Village. Built in 1982 as part of a larger effort to revitalize Long Beach’s shoreline, the village was designed to look like a 19th-century seaport village to provide a mix of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. The project also included what is now the Shoreline Marina and Marina Green Park. Parkers’ Lighthouse restaurant opened in 1984 and is the village’s oldest tenant. Like the Lions Lighthouse across the harbor entrance, the three-story lighthouse is not nor ever was functional.
