Water Towers
Expanding on our posts about the Santa Ana Water Tower and the Anderson Street Water Tower in Sunset Beach, obviously water towers aren’t rare. Nor do they always “tower” over the area. Many don’t even hold water, at least not any more. Some may have never held water, but “memorialize” days gone by in an area. But they are all landmarks, to a greater or lesser extent, as they all “enable someone to establish their location” so we’re providing just a sampling of the towers found throughout southern California.
