Love (Always) Wins
The colorful and whimsical “Love (Always) Wins” mural on the Center Street Parking Structure received a 2020 Art in Public Places award from the City of Anaheim. In partnership with the City, the mural was completed by members of the Vineyard Anaheim Church under the direction of Santa Ana mural artists Brian Peterson and Damin Lujan. Future husbands and wives park in the structure to obtain their marriage licenses, perhaps even get married, at the Orange County Clerk-Recorder’s Office in the adjoining North County Branch Office. Before the mural was even finished, couples came out for a photo in front of the mural. It is still happening.
