Beach Center Station

Beach Center Station at Main and Olive in downtown Huntington Beach opened in 1935 with banners, speeches and music. It was designed by Louis A. Simon and built by L.F. Dow of Los Angeles as a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project.

Stearns Wharf

Stearns Wharf is Santa Barbara’s Number 1 attraction. Completed in 1872, it became the longest deep-water pier between Los Angeles and San Francisco, a key contributor to coastal commerce. It was named for its builder, John P. Stearns.
